Hmm, six I liked, none I hated, more than half I don't even recognize. I'm also surprised there was only one Nat King Cole in the mix - I guess he must've only released one song that year for some reason; who wouldn't love that voice? Amusingly enough, I knew about Rag Mop because it was sung on Beanie and Cecil a few years later when I was old enough to watch tv.
On another note, I just got a jury summons for January 8. Just think, a free downtown parking space; an 1 1/2 hour lunch break within easy reach of Little Tokyo, Olvera Street and Chinatown; and an ironclad excuse not to have to do any of the other stuff I usually have to. And to think some people try to get OUT of jury duty... :)
