Posting from my iTouch - excuse typos.

Someplace in northern Baja had an earthquake and we felt it here in Santa Monica at Vicky's mostly because it rang the doorbells... More later when I get back to a decent keyboard.

Goodness. Well, I hope you've had a happy Easter despite the doorbell-ringing distant earthquake.

Yeppers. Never knew before that one advantage of hanging door chimes is that they'd tell you that was an earthquake, not a dizzy spell. :)

Vicky, who was using her laptop, went over to the US Geological Survey Earthquake page and reported the thing. Here, of course, it was pretty minor, but it lasted a relatively long time (someday I shall remember to time these things) so we figured it was probably a big earthquake originating a long way away and sure enough...

I went over to Yahoo which is easier to read from a tiny screen and read the news as it came in. Most amusing was the comment from someone in Phoenix along the lines of "that can't be an earthquake; I'm in Arizona!". :)

There's still plenty of info on the Geological Survey page of course. Go look if you're interested.

Thanks for the link! I'm glad it was otherwise a good Easter.
