Like a lot of other people I appear to have picked up an abandoned dragon egg. I just hope this is less work than a Tamogachi or this dragon's in real trouble. I think you're supposed to click on it. Here's the picture. I'll give it a name when it hatches.

Hmm.. that doesn't look like much just now. OK, borrowing a format by Thom Digby...

Plergb := nice, warm comfy dragon nest around dragon egg.
[Plergb] Adopt one today! [/Plergb].

White dragons are very pretty; I have more of them than anything else.

There's an lj community, dragonspam, for getting clicks and views for dragons.

Welcome to the wonderful world of sprite dragons! =D

Your egg is not clickable. It is only viewable. They must have clicks to grow. Just use the HTML code they give you at Dragon Cave.

Also, put them on dragonspam and if they are not growing and you have less than a day left post them to dragon_er

Clicked! =D

FWIW I did use the html code they gave me. What view were you using that it didn't work? (Can't test it myself obviously.)

I am told that you can get a dragon to grow up with just views - it apparently takes a ... rather large number of them? I admit, I'm not certain how that works now that there's a limit of 15x on A over B. I can't remember if that's views vs. unique views, or unique views vs. clicks. Last I saw on dragonbrood, someone was trying to test the 'fog the egg until day seven & then post it somewhere will it will get massive traffic'.

Regardless, right now all I can give is views - for technical reasons that I have no clue on, my work firewall blocks the cave, but allows the egg GIFs through. I assume I'm generating views...

dragonspam says it's closed to new members, apparently even for commenting. FWIW there's also a copy on my index page. Anyway, thanks for petting the dragon egg.
